Fifty Fifty is a great coffee shop on three counts: coffee, service, and wifi. A friend and I shared a Chemex of their Colombia coffee. We're on the tail end of a two-week road trip, have been to a bunch of coffee places, and Fifty Fifty has the best coffee of any place we've been TJ so far. The owners of SwitchBack Coffee Roasters next door bought our Fifty Fifty this past year, and the coffee game has stepped up. I stopped at this same place last summer on a road trip, and the coffee is noticeably more enjoyable. Everyone working there was friendly, talked to us, joked with us, and helped us out. The wireless here works great--also the best we've experienced on our trip. For people who need to do work on the computer, this was awesome. Additionally, the place has a good feel with plenty of room, and great outdoor seating in a quiet, nice neighborhood. Great coffee place--definitely check it out.

We were on the road during an epic road trip and decided to stop at Fifty Fifty to get our dose of Wifi and in theory get some of the best coffee in CO Springs. Their roaster (SwitchBack) is great and the coffee is good. The Wifi is also BLAZING fast and very awesome. Only reason for 4 stars: No non-coffee aficionado option. I love coffeeshops but ironically don't drink coffee so having more options would've been great! I'd come here again!

Great atmosphere with the usual coffeehouse vibe. Indie music flowing through and a wonderful coffee bean smell wafting through. The employees are joyful and nice. They will happily explain things for you if you need any help. The food and snacks are great. They have baked goods from The Old School Bakery which you can never go wrong with, and tastes treats. I've only been twice but I have enjoyed myself each time. A great cappuccino and latte that will easily make you wonder why starbucks is on almost every corner. They have cups and such that you can take to go but stay a while, and relax. You will find a comforting ease in this place. I know I do.

Amazing customer service [thanks Baven]! Delicious chocolate and iced coffee pairing! Chalk outside on the patio to play! I brought my dog to hang with me out there---what a wonderful stop! This place is awesome!

Great coffee. Amazing service. Cute place. Loved that the guy offered to bring the coffee to me outside. Loved that they go outta there way
(5)Jacklyn W.
Great atmosphere with a variety of seating, outdoor patio, cornhole and good for a social setting. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, only complaint is that the bread fell apart while eating. I got the chai and that was a tasty iced beverage

I've been dropping by almost every other day while our kitchen is being remodeled. Service and drinks are sometimes amazing and sometimes just ok depending on who is at the counter. No one gives names so that makes the reviewing tough There is a wonderfully friendly brunette with arm tattoos who makes the best mocha I've ever had and chats with everyone that walks in. You can rest assured if she's working, it's going to be a great visit. The downside is when you get the blond who frequently wears her hair wrapped 50s style in a bandana. She makes you feel bad for entering the shop. I've never seen her smile, be friendly, and drinks are consistently off. It's almost enough that if I see her working, I just want to turn around and walk out. Maybe the new owners can work out the inconsistencies and it will go back to great consistent service.

Simple, yet sweet little coffee house tucked away in a residential area. I actually happened upon this place via Instagram and liked what I saw so I started following them. When I finally made it down to the springs to explore the area, I had to stop by for a cuppa. My visit was short. I ordered my almond milk latte to go and went off to enjoy a few hours at the zoo. The place was pretty crowded with people enjoying the shop and whatever company they had with them; the ambiance was quintessentially hipster, and pretty chill. The service was fine - friendly, but lacking in smiles. The latte was superb, though, so that's smile enough for me. So my first impression was good. I'd definitely return given the opportunity. If I'm lucky, I'll make it back one more time before heading back to Boulder.

Really delicious little hole in the wall. They have enough vegan food to fill up on too! We ordered the avocado toast and granola and went back for a second avocado toast. They have a quiet room in her back where people can study too.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the springs. Awesome barista and delicious gluten free food!! The breakfast sandwich is one of my favorite items on their menu. I highly recommend it!
(5)Jon W.
God knows we don't need another coffee shop with a septum pierced Barista explaining to us they had their Shel Silverstein tattoo before it was a thing. It's nice to walk into a place with simple elegance and great coffee sans the pretentious Barista. They are not trying to hard, the intemacy of the place is natural. Great place to meet or get work done. It also, so far, attracts the right people. I haven't tried their pastry, and have only had one drink. But I'll be back, and I've already told people about it.

I love how this coffee shop is within my neighborhood so my hubby and I could stop by for coffee & treats. It's also dog-friendly, so I enjoy walking my Yorkies here. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and casual. They provide fitness clubs weekly, which is a bonus for us who are into fitness and living a healthy life. Their menus are short and simple, they provide great coffee and few yummy foodies. My husband wouldn't recommend the Breakfast Sandwich, so this meal needs some improving. But we both do recommend getting the Avocado Toast, either with a bagel or sourdough bread. Not only it's fulfilling in our tummy but also so delicious. I keep ordering this every time I visit, because it's that good. Changing their menu regularly while keeping the popular meals (such as the Avocado Toast) would keep things interesting and customers would look forward to see what's new on the menu! Maybe add a special coffee drink, like flavor of the month, would be a great idea. (Remember: quality over quantity.) Keep up with your hard work, and thank you for making our visit a welcoming one. We'll keep coming here time and time again. ;)

Awesome coffee shop! Great location and hours. Staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants something other than Starbucks.
(5)Tristy V.
This place is fabulous! Cute location with good seating, lots of light, good wifi, and plenty of outlets to plug in computers. I have been here two days in a row now so I could get some work done while visiting family in town, and this is one of my favorite coffee shops anywhere! The coffee is top notch (roasted next door) and the varieties of pour overs are impressive. The iced coffee is tasty. No super sweet drinks here, but the staff is wonderful and will make your drink the way you want it, judgement-free! Breakfast sandwiches=yum and the raspberry jalapeño pop tart was amazing. I'd be here all the time if I lived here!

Love this place. I used to be in this area quite a lot, and remember when they were next door. Since turning into Fifty Fifty, they've pared down their menu and have got one of the coolest vibes I've ever seen. Comfy couches and I think a bearskin rug, along with a few tables and chairs. They also have seating outside. The baristas are always friendly, and the coffee is always good (v important). They offer almond milk for a few cents more. They serve a few different kinds of food, including a breakfast sandwich and a vegan chocolate poptart, which was delicious. They also usually have bagels.
(5)Tim K.
Fifty Fifty is one of those places that makes you wish you lived closer, like next door close. The bright ambiance and genuine smiles of the gals that own it make you feel at home there. I can't vouch for the food (yet) but the coffee is perfect. They have everything from iced coffee to pour overs to espresso. They source their coffee from Switchback Coffee Roaster, now conveniently located next door! I'm looking forward to my next visit.
(5)Sheila S.
I just adore this place. The space is lovely and fits right into the charming neighborhood seamlessly. The employees are pleasant and friendly. I've only had the chai, and it has been great every time.
(5)Jeremy M.
Best espresso in Colorado Springs! Friendly service every time. Great place to bring your family and friends!
(5)Paul T.
Delightful and unique cafe. Very good artisanal coffee, decent baked goods. Staff exceptionally friendly and authentic.
(5)Mark S.
This place sets the standard for coffee and all things coffee related. I've lived all over the US and traveled the world many times over and this place hands down the best. Even better is the pairing they've done with switchback roasters; who has taken bean roasting to a phenomenal level. By concentrating on the basics, they've managed to make something as simple as producing a cup of coffee an art form to watch and taste.
(5)Jonathan B.
Great. Place. Local coffee. Local, organic, interesting eats. Cool vibe. Nice people. I wish I lived closer.
(5)Taylor A.
My main beef with the coffee scene is how pretentious it's become. Apparently, you have to know everything about coffee in order to enjoy it. Friendliness is forgotten, creating an experience is exchanged for creating the perfect pour over. I somehow find that this entity known as "third wave" coffee shops have forgotten what coffee is really about: relationships. You won't find any of that crap at Fifty Fifty. Jo and Sarah have created an environment that is based on a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone behind the counter at Fifty takes time to cater to their customers, and make sure that going there is an experience that one would love to create again and again. People like those at Fifty are the reason I love the coffee business and why I started drinking coffee in the first place. Thanks for not being pretensions and making me feel bad about drinking coffee!
(5)Jon H.
My favorite coffee shop in the Springs. Wonderful owners and staff. Craft coffee without the pretense or contrived environment and decor. Check 'em out!
(5)Jerome B.
Great place to sip on some tea and catch up with the homies. Also hands down the best music I've ever heard in a coffee shop!
(4)Francis B.
This is a pretty golden place. We go here, typically every other week. Service is usually very good and the baristas are friendly. Today however we had a different experience: the gal we dealt with was extremely snippy and pretentious to us (we had never seen her before). Our group questioned amongst ourselves whether we had done anything wrong - but we had only ordered drinks and some pastries. Perhaps she was having a very rough day, however if she is going to be a barista it would be good on her part to actually be a bit friendly. She did a good job with our food and coffee but her attitude was pretty bad. Still a solid coffee stop, and the rest of the baristas are very lovely.
(4)George T.
My favorite coffee shop by far. Not a lot of pastries offered but the coffee is roasted next door so you can know the coffee is great! The fifty fifty iced coffee is half milk half coffee with a brown sugar syrup and it is amazing!!! I try to sip it slowly but I always end up guzzling it because it is so delectable. Pleasant atmosphere and sublime coffee...what else could you want?

Fifty Fifty Coffee House is an amazing little hole-in-the-wall living room. It's a place to meet old friends, read in solitude, or make new friends. They have a wonderful coffee supplier right next door (Switchback Roasters). The owners, Sarah and Jo, have created a place of true community, and continue to cultivate that with a friendly staff and delicious menu. I would recommend their avocado on sourdough toast. Also check out their Instagram. Seriously a comforting place.

Just found this place about a week ago. The coffee is simply yummy, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and mellow, great for reading or getting some work done. Highly recommend it!
(5)Scott N.
This is a super cool coffee shop. Great atmosphere and great employees with a friendly as kind attitude. Unfortunately they are pretty overpriced. I am a daily drinker of Chai with almond milk, they charge the same price for a 16oz as others charge for a 20oz. So, that is 20% less for the same money. If I was an occasional chai drinker, I might not worry, but I lose over $350 a year, simple economics. When the new owners took over from Ravens Nest, they got rid of the 20oz as the large. I was at Ravens Nest every day. It really bums me out.
(2)Erik W.
The coffee is good and the staff are always friendly. Great place to hangout with friends or read.
(5)Cecily C.
Hard working, friendly owners Sara and Jo. The service is great and the coffee is fresh and delicious. They have everything from iced coffee to pour overs to espresso in which their beans come from Switchback Roasters. The pastries are also delicious and vegan as well. It's a perfect neighborhood coffee shop to become a regular at. It's a cozy little place with a vintage look.
(5)Samantha J.
I love Fifty Fifty and the ladies who own it. The food is fun and delicious and the coffee is SOO good. Had my first experience with a pour-over, and I'm never going back to regular! Thanks Sara and Jo for creating such a great place in the neighborhood!
(5)Derek H.
Great local coffee shop. I've had the fiftyfifty iced coffee, a vanilla latte, their chai, and some of their food items. All very good. Great wi-fi and great baristas!
(5)Bekah S.
Being from Seattle, I am picky about my coffee. When Fifty Fifty opened its doors and I heard they were serving Switchback, I was right there. Not only was I happy with my coffee, but the Paisley Pastry company makes a mean pop tart. I was warmly welcomed and have become friends with many of the staff and the regulars at the shop. This place is so wonderful!! I always leave with a smile on my face and am grateful that the neighborhood has a coffee shop with a clean, eclectic aesthetic and people who love what they do! I have come to treasure the owners, Jo and Sarah, and think you should get to know them too!!
(5)Georgia R.
Best coffee shop in the springs! Great local shop with a very nice outdoor patio for my dog to hang out alongside me. Wide array of drinks and delectable baked goods!
(5)Devin R.
Literally the best coffee shop I've been to. Sometimes hit or miss with the Caramel Breves that I get but...even the misses supersede most coffee places. I have been to places in Denver that everyone raves about and I still like here better. They use locally roasted beans from next door. Wholesome ingredients and flavorings. Have an awesome staff that keeps it cool and real. A fresh comfortable modern bright environment good for working. Great music. A nice patio to sit on. I could just keep ranting and raving. Jo, Sarah, and Crystal are the best. The hostesses with the mostest. I know many people believe coffee with "Flavor" isn't real coffee....but they don't use dense heavy fake syrup flavors. They use self created organic syrups that compliment the coffee. If you are visiting...you must stop in...if you live here become a regular...but don't tell too many people. ;-) we have to keep an awesome place to ourselves right? If I were you I would try out a Caramel Breve and the Honey Sriracha Avocado Toast. Then ALWAYS get the raw chocolate. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE....trust me. Haha. Then when Fifty Fifty closes head to the Wild Goose...they serve the coffee albeit differently. Even the owner suggest Wild Goose when they are closing...because they are real people that love the Springs.

Incredible. Go. This place is something you would see in Portland on a dense urban environment. Sara and Jo are an asset to this community and their coffee is wonderful. I love their food and I love their tea. They are extremely accommodating and aware of food allergies. This is a unique little gem to experience. They have a large patio space for beautiful days. Too they offer a running club as well as a knitting club. Enjoy! This place is filled with creativity, love and culture! The offer fresh vegan friendly pastries as well!
(5)Brittney B.

What a wonderful experience at Fifty Fifty Coffee House today! Our drinks were delicious, and the sandwich was especially yummy! We also enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the great environment that Jo. and Sara have created!

Just moved to Colorado Springs and stopped in today for lunch. My brown sugar latte and pressed turkey sandwich were delicious. I was able to use the free wifi to get some work done, plenty of space to spread out. Great atmosphere!
(5)Donavan K.
Fifty fifty is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop. It has great design, great coffee and the staff is extremely friendly. If you haven't been yet, please try the breakfast sandwich! Thank you for raising the bar on what a neighborhood coffee shop should be like!
